Deaf Awareness Week

Bake Sale raises £70

Pupils at Overton School enjoyed celebrating Deaf Awareness Week across the week of 6-12th May! Pupils could purchase and wear a blue and yellow ribbon to show their support for Deaf Awareness. At the end of the week, we held Overton’s first ever bake sale! Staff at Overton kindly donated their time and baking skills to supply the bake sale with goods before everybody came together to enjoy a sweet treat and to raise money for a brilliant cause! Overton managed to raise £70 through the sale of ribbons and cakes, which is a brilliant achievement for our school.
