Muay Thai opportunity for all pupils

Pupils thrive in weekly sessions at a local Muay Thai gym

Students at Overton School are learning a new form of Boxing at the Muay Thai Gym with coach Hehm; with Hehm’s support students have developed their fitness and learnt the fundamentals of coordination, technique and stamina required for Muay Thai.
Hehm and school staff have ensured pupils understand to only use this in a gym based scenario under instruction and not in the public.

All students from KS2-KS5 have shown great enthusiasm towards Muay Thai and look forward to continuing this new experience, these sessions support students with regulation, fitness and sensory feedback whilst engaging with a new skill. We cannot thank all at the Muay Thai Gym for their ongoing support.
