Pupils experience Chinese traditions ahead of Chinese New Year

Pupils at Overton School celebrated Chinese New Year this week, they have been working hard to create beautiful decorations and learning about special traditions that take place during the celebrations. Our very own Amy Luxton led a fantastic assembly providing pupils with the opportunity to taste authentic Chinese food and for many use chop sticks for the first time. Thank you Amy for providing this lovely cultural experience, and the celebrations did not end there all staff and pupils enjoyed a Chinese themed feast for lunch.
