Overton students enjoyed a showcase for farming and many competitions for cattle, sheep, pigs and dairy goats. There were also competitions for horses, rare breeds of livestock, poultry, pygmy goats, pigeons, cavies, rabbits and dogs.
Lots of students enjoyed some of the events at the main show ground such as the Knights of Nottingham jousting, a dog agility competition, giant tortoises and show jumping. Most of the students enjoyed some of the delicious food on offer and some of the students enjoyed taking part in activities like riding in a cross-country Range Rover.
It was a long drive, but everyone came back tired and in good spirits with some pupils catching a glimpse of Emmerdale and Strictly come dancing star Kelvin Fletcher.
