Home News & Events Work Experience with Shropshire Council
Hardworking students who enjoy the outdoors have completed fantastic volunteering opportunities with Church Stretton council. Students have been working with groundskeepers and grounds maintenance managers to support the upkeep of Church Stretton’s environment. Some of the tasks which students have been undertaking include bramble beating, clearing hedge row trimmings and clearing trees and tree branches from footpaths. These activities have included some responsible jobs such as using saws and loppers. The groundskeepers have been very impressed with the speed at which students have cleared the environment.
