World Book Day

For World Book Day this year, pupils at Overton participated in a range of activities across the morning that promote reading for pleasure! Staff and pupils dressed as their favourite characters from books, their was a fabulous effort from all. Some activities included making their own characters out of paper plates, creating bookmarks and enjoying a book in a cosy corner. Pupils also had the opportunity to select their World Book Day books in exchange for their tokens by visiting the local WH Smith in Ludlow!
